I mean, Adele won everything and before she received the biggest award of the night from one of the biggest divas in the world, Diana Ross herself, she received a standing ovation from the entire audience at the show. See her performance of “Rolling In The Deep” below which elicited that crowd response thanks to Just Jared. Kristen Stewart Wanted To Play Snow As A Badass

Kristen Stewart, who stars as the warrior Snow White in Snow White & the Huntsman, opening June 1, has said that she wanted to play Snow as a “badass.”

And that’s just what she does. Her version of an empowered and proactive Snow White doesn’t spend a moment cooking, cleaning and keeping house for a bunch of dwarves. Neither does she idiotically keep letting an old woman giver her poisoned hair pins and an apple which she stupidly eats.

No, Kristen Stewart‘s Snow White realizes very quickly that if anyone is going to defeat the evil Queen Ravenna and take back her rightful throne, then it has to be her. She’s not one to wait around for Prince Charming to rescue her either.

Like the other courageous film heroine who stormed the box office this spring – Katniss Everdeen in Hunger Games, Kristen Stewart’s Snow White is a leader of men… and other women.

Stewart revealed that she was "destroyed" by the part, which she said was the most physically demanding role of her career.

Co-star Hemsworth admitted he had suffered from Stewart's strength after he was struck with an accidental "big right hook" from the star while filming.

Just as Katniss defended her fellow Hunger Games contestant, Peeta, Snow White even steps up to save the life of the Huntsman.

Kristen Stewart hits the red carpet for the "Snow White and the Huntsman" screening at the Westwood Village Theater where she talks with Access about playing a strong female character and overcoming her fear of horses for the movie.

Emmy Winner Jim Parsons Officially Admitted That He Is A Gay

Jim Parsons
The Big Bang Theory actor Jim Parsons has skipped the "I'M GAY!" magazine cover approach to coming out: Far down in a New York Times profile on Wednesday was the subtle mention that the two-time Emmy winner has been in a same-sex relationship for a decade.

The blink-and-you'll miss it aside appeared in a story about Parsons' starring stint in the Broadway production of Harvey.

Discussing Parsons' small role in the play The Normal Heart - about gay men dying of AIDS - the story noted: "The Normal Heart resonated with him on a few levels: Mr Parsons is gay and in a 10-year relationship, and working with an ensemble again onstage was like nourishment, he said."

Jim Parsons is known to be a versatile actor and recently he has won quite a few awards for his acting, including the Emmys. Jim Parsons has been in a committed relationship for the past 10 years, and even though in the NYT article, his partner was not revealed, a lot of people believe it is Todd Spiewak. Jim Parsons even thanked Todd Spiewak during a 2010 Emmy Award acceptance speech and the two were rumored to be engaged at one point.

According to the details which have emerged, Parsons, 39, popped the question to Spiewak, 34, and both of them got engaged. The pair were planning a Christmas wedding in Massachusetts, where gay marriages are legal, but Spiewak called off the wedding after an argument took place between the two. Apparently the argument had taken place over children as Spiewak wanted children while Parsons did not. However, according to the latest reports, both of them are still living together and Parsons is reconsidering his decision as he cannot live without his partner.

Parsons, who took home the Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series in 2010 and 2011, spent last summer on Broadway as well, portraying Tommy Boatwright, a young gay activist in Larry Kramer’s “The Normal Heart.” He is slated to reprise the role in an upcoming film adaptation of the award winning play.

The Times’ revelation may not be news to some of Parsons’ avid fans, who note that during awards acceptance speeches he regularly thanks his reported partner, Todd Spiewak, with whom he is often photographed.

The 39-year-old said: “I try to master every facet of a character in order to build a safety net for myself, so I can go on to take more risks to create someone really distinct”. For instance, Parsons has a sort of body language obsession. He was the one that gave Sheldon “the angular, ungainly stride”.

During the interview, Parsons talked about his upcoming casting in “Harvey”. The New York Times reporter, Patrick Healy noted about the actor’s new role: “Mr. Parsons is gay and in a 10-year relationship, and working with an ensemble again onstage was like nourishment, he said” that Jim Parsons “has lived as a gay man in his private life, but in his professional public life he skirted the issue”.

In “Harvey”, Parsons is going to play Elwood, a character he says it has “warmth and wants nothing more than to connect with other people, whereas my nine-month-a-year job is a character who says things like, ‘If you don’t mind, I’d like to stop listening to you and talk now”.

Jennifer Lopez Will Leave The American Idol? Rumor Or Truth

If Jennifer Lopez exits Idol, as E! News reported Wednesday she will, then Idol has a chance to be Idol again.

That would be the show that didn't need a velvet rope around the judges' table. With The X Factor landing Britney Spears and Demi Lovato, the pressure will be on Idol to keep up with the divas. But Idol went there with Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler, and before them, Ellen DeGeneres. The show won in the TV ratings, which is the point, but lost some of its mojo, which is not beside the point.

Jennifer Lopez
The household names produced by Idol are legion. But for all the Kelly Clarksons and Carrie Underwoods, the show's biggest creation has been Simon Cowell.

Would the Cowell of 2002, the anonymous music insider, get the call to replace Lopez in 2012?You've read all the reports -- "exclusive! Jennifer Lopez to leave "American Idol" after this season!" -- and maybe even believe them because, after all, she will leave "American Idol" one of these days. So will Randy and so will Steven Tyler. Everybody leaves eventually.

But is she leaving after this year? Here are 12 reasonable reasons why this is all probably bogus. (Hint, it's mostly about Britney.)

J.Lo has deployed underlings to sow the rumors, not facts. I mean come on! "A friend close to J.Lo." Gimme a break! J.Lo's a corporation; it's like saying, "a friend close to General Electric tells me..." For God's sake, she has an army of PR personnel that are sent out to the tab press to tell them whatever she needs to tell them.

J.Lo - like any well-run corporation - has good advice. She knows how Ryan Seacrest and Matt Lauer and so many others play this game to their great advantage. She's doing the same.

J.Lo has had her "friends" tell the tabs that she's just too busy to do "Idol." Just too busy...That's like Goldman Sachs sayings it's "just too busy" to do investment banking, or NBC saying it's "jjust too busy" to air any TV programs...This IS the job, and all the other stuff - the movies and records and tours and who-knows-what - are secondary to this.

J.Lo knows that her resurgent career has resurged in large measure because of this gig.

J.Lo knows the minute she jumps off she'll disappear - just another big star who made another dumb move - and all those things she been "so busy" with will become much less important in the scheme of things. .

J.Lo knows that Britney is her chief rival next season. She'd look like a coward ducking a fight if she left now.

J.Lo also knows how much fun it will be to bury "The X Factor" next season, and knows that she'll be the one holding the shovel. Sure they're on the same network, but if she stays, "Idol" will remain far and away the biggest franchise, and she'll be Queen Bee, and the biggest pop star in the world, while Brit will someone trying to prop up flagging "X."

J.Lo knows that there's so much more money to be made -- much, much more. Double what's she's getting now ($15-20M) for a few hours of work, figuratively speaking, a year.

J.Lo started having her "friends" spread all this talk about being "too busy" right around the very moment Britney signed on to "X." Coincidence? 'Course not. Timing's brilliant because Fox and Fremantle know that if Brit got what she got (yes, reports say at much as $50 million, believe 'em or not, and Fox, of course, knows the precise figure since it's paying it) they've got to step up to the plate, too. This is a negotiating tactic, period.

Jennifer Lopez looked divine as she strolled the black carpet wearing a gorgeous Maria Lucia Hohan gown at the What to Expect When You're Expecting premiere. E!'s own Catt Sadler and Marc Malkin were on hand to chat up the film's stars, so of course they made sure to spend some time with J.Lo.

The American Idol mama dished on her beau Casper Smart, her ex Marc Anthony and even had some advice for the new hosts of that other singing competition

One thing Lopez has appeared to find balance with is her relationship with her ex-husband Marc Anthony, with whom she cohosts the Spanish reality competition show, Q'Viva.

"Marc and I are gonna be performing together in Las Vegas with our whole Q'Viva crew," Lopez said. "Marc and I were friends for 10 years before we got married. We got married, we had two beautiful children, and we're still friends. Things disappointingly don't work out the way that you dream them in your mind sometimes. That's life. But, that doesn't mean that the caring goes away or the friendship or the things that brought you together disappear. They haven't for us, so we just want to be great parents and great friends and just try to do things well for them."

Helena Is Too Lazy To Tie The Knot To Tim Burton

Helena Bonham Carter
James Mottram speaks to the Oscar winning actress talking about her role in latest blockbuster and Daily Mirror film critic David Edwards' reviews Dark Shadows.

They say two’s company and three’s a crowd, but Helena Bonham Carter must be used to it. Her new movie Dark Shadows sees her once again team up with its director – her real-life partner Tim Burton – and his regular male lead, Johnny Depp.

It is Depp’s eighth outing with Burton (and her seventh), but the British star doesn’t mind sharing her man.

“Johnny’s obviously a really old friend of Tim’s,” she says. “And he doesn’t feel like an actor to hang out with.”

Bonham Carter, who turns 46 this month, has been with Burton, 53, since appearing in his 2001 remake Planet Of The Apes.

There are plenty of reasons not to tie the knot in Hollywood - just ask Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, who spent seven years together before finally announcing their engagement in April.

But for longtime partners Helena Bonham Carter and Tim Burton, the logic is simple: They're too lazy to say "I do."

"We're not (married), actually. Not through any kind of. Through laziness, really," she told Daniel Radcliffe in the latest issue of Interview magazine.

"Our houses are married. It is very good to have. You definitely need your space."

The quirky couple, who have been together for 11 years, have notoriously never wed, though they have two children together - Billy, 8, and Nell, 4 - and have collaborated on numerous film projects.

But Burton and Depp go all the way back to 1990’s Edward Scissorhands.

“Johnny’s probably a bit more obedient to Tim than I am!” laughs the actress, who lives with Burton and their two children, Billy, eight – whose godfather is Depp – and Nell, four, in London’s Belsize Park.

More than 40 years before True Blood and Twilight made angst-ridden vampires the hot new thing, there was a wicked little afternoon soap called Dark Shadows. At its center was Barnabas Collins, a brooding bloodsucker played with equal parts torment and relish by Jonathan Frid, and if you were an offbeat kid in the late 1960s there's a good chance you raced home from school to watch it. Tim Burton, the acclaimed director, was one of those eager young fans. And now he's put his own spin on things. His movie version of Dark Shadows opens May 11 with a starry cast headed by Johnny Depp - yet another boyhood buff of the soap - as the reluctant, guilt-ridden and immortally sexy Barnabas.

"Dark Shadows is a part of my DNA," says Burton. "I discovered it when I was a pre-teen feeling very awkward and strange about my place in life. I was crazy about its mash-up of vampires, witches and werewolves all swirling in this weird melodrama - there was nothing like it on TV! It formed who I am and the kind of films I would go on to make."

The Alice in Wonderland star made a vow at the start of 2012 to enrol in a class, and now she reveals she has finally hit the dance studio.

She tells Interview magazine, "The great thing about our job is that it makes us do stuff we're naturally too lazy to do. I'm proud of myself that I'm finally doing tap lessons. That was a New Year's resolution. I thought, 'Just do it! When are you going to make the time?'"

But the actress admits she prefers to spend time with her two kids when she has a rare day off, adding, ""(In my free time I) learn to tap dance. Do something with children. Bond. Remind them, 'Hello, I am your mother.' The free time is spent with the children, really.

"I think if you've got a child, you've got to show them how to love life and what the good things to do are... I love that. And I love what I get back from them, which is imagination and play."

Helena Bonham Carter admitted that she is ‘too lazy’ to tie the knot to her long-term partner Tim Burton, as she went topless, dressed as a white swan, for a quirky new shoot for a magazine.

The 45-year-old actress said that despite having two children, Billy, eight, and four-year-old Nell, with Burton - her partner of 11 years, the pair are unlikely to get hitched.

“We’re not [married], actually. Not through any kind of ... Through laziness, really,” the Daily Mail quoted her as telling the magazine.

However, Carter was quick to insist that just because the pair, who famously live in adjoining houses, aren’t legally married, it doesn’t mean their relationship isn’t serious.

“Our houses are married. It is very good to have. You definitely need your space,” she said.

Carter and Burton have worked on seven movies together and the actress thinks it is important that she gets to see him work otherwise she would worry about the filmmaker’s stress levels and unhappiness when he came home in the evenings.

“He is very stressed. Directors are. The stress level - it’s a battle. I mean everything that can go wrong goes wrong,” she said.

“But then again, what’s great about working with Tim - when you’re involved with him - is that I get to see that on set, he’s having fun.

But if I didn’t get to go on set, I’d think he was suicidal for six months. I love seeing him work. It’s a really good thing. It’s very healthy to do, every so often,” she said.

The Dark Shadows star insists she would be ‘insane’ if she turned down any roles she is offered by Burton because she thinks he is a ‘genius’, though there are also practical reasons for their frequent collaborations.

Miranda Kerr Who Could Make Anything Look Chic

Miranda Kerr
Miranda Kerr, who may not have made it to Tuesday’s Met Ball, is grabbing headlines thanks to the sexy Victoria’s Secret shoot.

The 29-year-old model looked stunning in the campaign picture, and not just because she’s very nearly naked, but because she could make anything look chic, the Mirror reported.

Granted, for a lingerie campaign, Orlando Bloom’s wife is not actually wearing all that much lingerie, she’s mainly just rocking a skimpy pair of lace knickers and a charm bracelet. The Kerr-Bloom family got away for a vacation to the Four Seasons in Bora Bora last week. Miranda Kerr wore a sexy white bikini to hang out on the beach with Flynn, and the duo later met up with dad Orlando for a swim in the hotel pool. Orlando Bloom wentshirtless for the dip and helped Flynn into his floating device. The trio spent a few days in Tahiti during a break from their many projects and have since continued their trip with a stop in New Zealand. Miranda and Orlando's getaway meant that they missed the annual Met Gala, and Miranda tweeted her disappointment about missing out on the event, writing, "So sad I can't be with you all tonight at the MET Ball! Sending love from New Zealand."

It’s no wonder Miranda looks a tad smug on the cover – she’s the happiest woman in the world.

Describing her son, who is 15 months old, Miranda said he is like a “little ball of sunshine”. She added: “He’s a really charming, lovely boy. He has that look in his eye like, ‘What trouble am I going to get into next?’

“But I like that, it's like me.”

Speaking about when she first had Flynn in January 2011, Miranda said she was working more than ever. She told the magazine: “I was working 18-hour days.

“Now that pace has slowed so I can spend the majority of my time with Flynn.”

He may be the spitting image of his papa Orlando Bloom, but in little Flynn's case, it's truly like mother, like son.

Model mama Miranda Kerr kept it all in the family at a recent photo shoot for the cover of Australia's Who magazine, sharing the front of the mag with her most scene-stealing pose partner to date: her cutie pie son!

And she thought sharing a frame with her fellow Victoria's Secret Angels pulled focus.

Play Miranda Kerr Spills on MotherhoodThe darling duo graces the magazine's (clearly Down Under's answer to People) annual Most Beautiful People issue, with Kerr opening up about motherhood with her picture-perfect 15-month-old.
And like she's said before, she's keeping her priorities straight., telling the magazine her working pace "has slowed so I can spend the majority of my time with Flynn," whom she describes as "a little ball of sunshine."

"I'm first a wife and a mother, and then comes work," the 28-year-old explained.

But most adorably, the Aussie model revealed she buys outfits for baby Flynn that match her hubby Orlando Bloom’s wardobe. How cute is that? We say very — and has Grazia Daily perusing a gallery of pics of mother and son out and about together (see above).

After the show, Mrs Bloom, who gave birth to Flynn last year, spoke to The Cut about life as a yummy mummy. ‘I wasn’t even sure if I wanted to come back to work or not, when I had my son. And now, you know, I work so much less than before I was pregnant. That’s the choice I made. Flynn is my priority — being there for him, making sure that I can cook for him, spend time for him, more important than anything else.’ Aw, what a lucky boy.

Erin joined in the baby talk and seeing as she’s now Leonardo DiCaprio’s latest arm candy, our ears instantly pricked up. ‘Is it in the water? Because I need to buy my own water!’ the blonde stunner said of fellow Angels Adriana Lima, Lily Aldridge and Alessandra Ambrosio all being knocked up. ‘I don’t know what is going on ... They’re dropping like flies. Who am I going to hang out with now? It’s scary.’ We say get involved, dear.

It's been over a year since Miranda Kerr andOrlando Bloom welcomed their first child,Flynn, and they couldn't be happier!

While promoting the new swimsuit line for Victoria's Secret, Miranda opened up to E! News about motherhood and how she and Orlando are adjusting to life as parents.

"I love it, I really love it," Miranda told Giuliana Rancic of being Flynn's mommy. "He's the best thing that ever happened to me."

Same can be said for Orlando, who Miranda says is a fabulous father. "He loves it, he really does."

As for how the gorgeous model mama got back into tip-top shape after giving birth, she says she works hard and has a great support system in Orlando.

Jennifer Aniston Canceled An Awards Appearance Due To Rumors

Jennifer Aniston
News reports that Jennifer Aniston canceled an awards appearance on Wednesday due to rumors that John Mayer’s latest song is about her.

The paper writes, “The eternal beauty was scheduled to accept an award at the Television Academy Honors ceremony on behalf of ‘Five,’ — the breast cancer movie anthology that she produced and helped direct — but on Tuesday she dropped out.”

An insider for the outlet attributes Aniston’s absence to her ex-boyfriend Mayer’s new single, “Shadow Days,” which Us Weeklyclaimed is about their 2009 breakup.

The supposed source says the Wanderlust star backed out of the ceremony because she ”was feeling ill at the prospect of being peppered with questions on the subject.”

Earlier this week, a source shared that "he wrote the song as a farewell letter knowing [Jen] would hear it. Ultimately he's done a lot of self reflection though and he realizes they weren't right for each other."

While the rumor went unfounded, according to a new New York Daily News report, which Gossip Cop has rated at and we’re rating at a number we could care less, the actress skipped a Television Academy Honors ceremony because she didn’t want to deal with reporters asking her about being the alleged inspiration. According to a source, she “was feeling ill at the prospect of being peppered with questions on the subject.”

Another source tells Gossip Cop she actually skipped because she had a real illness. The insider says she didn’t attend “because she came down with a virus.”

We’re assuming it wasn’t the “I’m tired of talking about John Mayer” virus. But, to be honest, we kind of have the “We’re tired of hearing about Jen Aniston and her hot exes” virus. Though, we are not quite tired of “Shadow Days,” which we think might actually be his mea culpa to the world, not just Aniston. We’re also not tired of staring at all her hot exes. That is all.

It seems rom com queen Jennifer Aniston will not be moving back to her native New York, and has sold the two city apartments she bought there recently. The spell living in New York was blighted by paparazzi intrusion, according to Aniston, who has since moved back to LA.

The former Friends star paid over $7m for the east coast properties, but has decided to move back to LA. And she has accepted a $6.5m offer from a mystery buyer, taking a loss on the Manhattan homes.

Miss Aniston is currently living in a 8,500 sq ft Bel Air Estate with her boyfriend Justin Theroux.

She had originally planned to create one cavernous home out of the two apartments, but she never settled at the address. “Aniston outgrew the apartments, a one-bedroom penthouse and a one-bedroom on the 17th floor — that she had planned on combining,” the New York Post was told.

“She loved them, but her circumstances changed and the space was just wrong,” the insider said. She told an Australian radio show: “We tried New York. It was a little rough with the paparazzi. It didn't feel like the New York I grew up in and knew.” Now the couple have moved into a $21m LA pad which has a vineyard, four-bedrooms, a garden and views of the Pacific.

Another star is offloading a recently bought house too — Tori Spelling. Spelling and her family bought a Malibu home just five months ago, but her fourth pregnancy means it won’t have enough family space. Who fell pregnant just one month after giving birth to her third child in October, says the new house just won’t be big enough. The property, which has three bedrooms and three bathrooms, is now on the market for $2.675m (£1.65m).

Us Weekly had claimed that Mayer, who split from the Friends star in 2009, wrote his latest track'Shadow Days'about their break-up, leading New York Daily News to report that she then missed the Television Academy Honours yesterday (May 2) over embarrassment.

A source claimed that she "was feeling ill at the prospect of being peppered with questions on the subject", though a rep for the ceremony tells Gossip Cop that she was just plain ill as caused by a virus.

He Is So Successful That We Just Doubt What He Can Not Do

Tom Hanks
It is hard not to list Tom Hanks as one of your favorite actors no matter who you are. I first saw Tom Hanks in his television show Bosom Buddies in 1980. In 1984 I went to the movies and saw Splash. From then on I have made it my business to see everything he has done because you never know what to expect. He has been cast in roles that seemed like they were written just for him. However, in other roles he plays characters you would never expect him to play. Every time he managed to pull it off. Pulling it off is kind of an understatement because he really does so much more than that.

In my opinion, one of his greatest performances was 1998's Saving Private Ryan where he played Captain John Miller. When you consider war films in general with all of the angst and anger it is hard to have three dimensional characters. The role of Captain John Miller is complex and one I feel few actor have the ability to make real. Hank's makes the Captain all at once a superhero, a man who can't/won't loose and at the same time a confused and frightened human being. In the scene where Miller finally tells his platoon what he did back in the States, Hanks makes you feel like you are not in a theater anymore but actually on the battlefield with these soldiers sharing this experience. Frankly Lawrence Olivier never did that for me.

Complicating Viktor's life is airport bigwig Frank Dixon, magnificently portrayed by Stanley Tucci. This is a man who wants to get ahead, and he sees Viktor as an inconvenience who poses a threat to his impending promotion. Though even his closest associates - especially hangdog lackey Thurman (Barry Shabaka Henley) - warm to Viktor, Frank continues to antagonize him, with results that are both comical and frustrating. While he is clearly a spiteful character, it's also easy to feel some sympathy for Frank as so many things seem to go wrong in his life.

I guess the big question is when we find out what Tom Hanks can't do. He has managed to be believable as a captain in World War II, a sappy romantic lead or a mob hit man. You never know what you'll get out of Tom Hanks except for a great performance.Among the most spectacular people and individuals in The showbiz industry right so now is Tom Hanks. Whether you fully understand him from all of his silver screen time and / or his early television shows, or you love his work under the camera to be a director and producer, it's always widely very likely that you have valued a little something from his body of work.

It isn't long before he's made a few friends, including cranky elderly custodian Gupta Rajan (Kumar Pallana) and lovestruck Trekkie Enrique Cruz (Diego Luna), who's fallen for Dolores Torres (Zoe Saldana), the woman whose job requires her to tell Viktor again and again that he cannot leave the airport and venture out into the city. While he does his best to facilitate a romance between these two, Viktor has eyes for someone as well.

In all, though, he has obtained over 100 nominations across a dozen distinctive award events with about a 50 % win rate! Paradoxically, multiple of the most memorable Tom Hanks films were not seriously well-known but were fan faves; probably simply because he starred opposite the up-and-coming Meg Ryan. These films comprise: "Joe Versus the Volcano" (1990), "Sleepless In Seattle" (1993), and "You've Got Mail" (1998).

Whilst Tom Hanks is most likely most generally known as a movie actor, he's got at the same time used up a critical level of time as a director and producer. Having said that, a number of people that happen to be probably most knowledgeable about Tom Hanks recognize him from a considerably odd show called "Bosom Buddies." This show, which co-starred Peter Scolari, highlighted two single men that hide on their own as females for you to live in the house which they prefer. The series ran from 1980 to 1982 issuing 37 episodes in the process.

Johnny Depp A Wizard Hollywood Star

Johnny Depp
He is Sweeney Todd, a wrongly imprisoned but gifted barber that returns to London in order to wreck his revenge upon those that put him in the prison. He is the Mad Hatter from Alice in Wonderland, a charming yet insane person living in the once opulent fantasy world. For both of these character, Depp's power and talent as a character actor had been tried, from his capability to harmonize and play to his heavy, over-the-top make-up and dress. His creative expression and variety of emotion in both films gained him high popularity from critics as well as admirers. Point a moviegoers can admire a demon barber or a heavily painted psychedelic lunatic indicated just how far Depp had come from playing the pretty boy on TV.

Johnny Depp has a somewhat excitable disposition and his moods and thoughts change rapidly. Enterprising, original and intuitive, Johnny Depp has an instinctive correct grasp of a subject. He is intellectual, resents interference and it is hard to deceive him. But perhaps due to painful separations in his early life, Johnny is very cautious about becoming involved in close relationships and sharing his feelings. Though Depp craves love and affection, intimacy is difficult for him. He may become romantically involved with people who do not value him or treat him well. Johnny Depp needs to learn to love and value himself before he will find happiness in love.

Johnny Depp is one of those Hollywood heartthrobs whose hairstyle has always made a style statement. He is the epitome of surfer hairstyles - with his sandy brown hair. He is among those who never follows the crowd and has always created his own distinctive look. His dreadlock hairstyle in the Pirates of the Caribbean movie is well suited to the character that he played and he always stuns his fans with his great hairstyles.

Jennifer Lopez's Habit Of Enlisting Real-life Loves For Videos

If Jennifer Lopez's stylish video for "Dance Again" proves anything, it's that the diva must not be a fan of photo albums. We know what you're thinking: How did he get that out of J.Lo's glittery new clip? Well, it's the only explanation for why she has time and time again recruited her current boyfriend for a video.

It's a trend that dates back 16 years, to her appearance in Diddy's "Been Around the World." In the years since, ex-husband Cris Judd, former-fiancé Ben Affleck, baby daddy Marc Anthony and current boy toy Casper Smart have all made an appearance in at least one of her clips.

Let's take a look:

Diddy, "Been Around the World" (1997)
Diddy and the rest of the Bad Boy Family parachute in for some sort of lavish shindig at a Middle Eastern-looking palace, where a glammed-to-the-nines Lopez is the guest of honor. "He's so handsome and he moves so well," she coos to one of her servants before he saves her from being poisoned. Their chemistry was palpable onscreen and the pair began dating soon after. They were together for more than three years before parting ways in 2001.

Cris Judd, "Love Don't Cost a Thing" (2001)
Lopez didn't waste any time getting back into the dating game after ending her relationship with Diddy. On the set of the video for "Love Don't Cost a Thing," the lead single from her hit sophomore album J. Lo, she met dancer Cris Judd and sparks immediately started to fly. They were married on September 29, 2001, but the love didn't last long — the pair divorced the following June.

Ben Affleck, "Jenny From the Block" (2002)
Which was just in time for her to start seeing her "Gigli" co-star Ben Affleck. Well, depending on whom you ask, there might have been a little, um, overlap between the end of her marriage to Judd and the start of her relationship with Affleck. But whatever. Love, right? They adopted the name Bennifer and took over the tabloids with their combined fabulousness. But on the "Jenny From the Block" video, they wanted you to think they were normal. Sure, they frolicked on yachts and rode in Bentleys, but they pumped their own gas. But alas, Bennifer wasn't meant to be, and after "Gigli" bombed and they were swarmed with bad press, the pair went their separate ways.

Marc Anthony, "No Me Ames" (1999)
Lopez and her ex-husband Marc Anthony have a long history together. They reportedly dated before Anthony married his first wife, Dayanara Torres Delgado, perhaps around the time they recorded this song for Lopez's debut album. The track went on to receive two Latin Grammy nominations in 2000. Anthony's divorce from Delgado was finalized on June 1, 2004, and he married Lopez in secret just four days later at her Beverly Hills mansion. For much of their marriage, the pair maintained a pretty quiet life away from the media and kept their relationship out of the public eye — a marked difference from her previous flings. They also had two children, twins Max and Emme, now 4.

Casper Smart, "Dance Again" (2012)
Lopez and Anthony divorced in July 2011, and even though the tabloids would really like for them to be locked in some sort of constant feud over her decision to start dating backup dancer Casper Smart, things continue to seem amicable between the pair. (They even worked together after their separation on the Latin American program "¡Q'Viva! The Chosen.") At 42, Lopez is following in the grand tradition of divas dating younger men (Casper is just 24). In her new video, Smart is center-stage. He plays her love interest throughout, much flesh gets flashed, the whole thing is dripping in glitter. You get the idea.

Julia Roberts Says Her Career Is Not In "Mirror Mirror"

A barefoot Julia Roberts has thrown open a hotel room’s French doors and is leaning out of the window, hollering down at an oblivious gardener as he deafeningly blows leaves away from the hotel’s grounds.

She tries again. “EXCUSE ME!” It’s not working, but Roberts does not give up. She resorts to birdcalls. The man removes his earplugs.

“Hi! Would you mind just turning that off for a few minutes? We’re just recording something in here.” Roberts offers up that dazzling grin of hers. “Thank you! Thanks so much!”

Roberts collapses back onto a couch next to Lily Collins and curls up, a slim gold toe ring on her right foot matching a gold pedicure. On screen, the two star in the live-action film “Mirror Mirror,” director Tarsem Singh’s comedy-laced retelling of the classic Snow White tale.

This time, Roberts plays a deranged, self-absorbed evil queen starving her kingdom in pursuit of a handsome, rich prince (Armie Hammer), while her stepdaughter, Collins’ fresh-faced Snow White, remains forever chained to the castle (to be aided later by a band of testy dwarves).

Taking on her manipulative queen, who throws lavish parties, plays chess with live people as pawns and tortures Snow, required a suspension of disbelief, Roberts says.

“Since it is kind of this fairy-tale land, there aren’t any rules of logic or the real-world compass doesn’t come into it, so you can, in a way, do anything,” she says.

And she delighted in a famous cohort. “Once we brought Nathan Lane in as my right-hand man, that gave me a lot more liberty to take it to a place of just madness, to make her sort of crazy and mad and obsessed and driven and never leaves the castle,” says Roberts, 44, whose character is fighting to keep her kingdom from the doe-like Snow. “So I think she’s gone kind of crazy, 18 years of obsessing over this person. Tarsem just let us run wild and come up with crazy things.”

Roberts and her husband, Danny Moder, typically split time between New Mexico, California and New York, and after winning her Oscar for “Erin Brockovich” in 2000, she has chosen to live more quietly with their three children, twins Hazel and Phinnaeus, 7, and Henry, 4.

“She has very strict boundaries about what is her life and what is her public life,” says Ryan Murphy, who was nervous before directing her on his second film, “Eat, Pray, Love,” but found her warm, funny and unpretentious. “She’s a very sort of old-fashioned movie star in that way, in that she has mystery to her.”

Says Roberts, “My husband and I conduct ourselves as the people that we are, not as the jobs that we have, and I think that has translated into our expansion into being a family and how we’re raising our kids. I’m sure I’m having the same conversations with my kids in the evening that half the moms in the country are: ‘Why don’t we have a video game player in our house? Well, because . . .’ ” She smiles. “So it’s the same stuff.”

But remarkably, you rarely see pictures of Roberts coming out of a grocery store.

She nods and pauses. “I’m just grateful that we have been allowed to have a family life that doesn’t get too aggressively pursued. I don’t know what the trick is to it, but I have a lot of gratitude for it because I feel like it’s really allowed our family to progress in a very natural, easy way in our community and in our home life.”

In the past decade, Roberts’ films have been a mixed bag. She has had hits from “Charlie Wilson’s War” to the “Ocean’s” franchise, but misses, too, like “Mona Lisa Smile” and last year’s “Larry Crowne,” which earned just a 35 percent rating on the Rotten Tomatoes site and had a weak take at the box office.

“I’d say she’s batting about .500,” says Keith Simanton, IMDB.com’s managing editor, who likens some of her recent films to a stagnant period she experienced in the ’90s. But with a fun turn in “Mirror Mirror,” and the upcoming “August: Osage County” (which won a Tony on Broadway), in which she plays Meryl Streep’s daughter, “that’s her going back to quality.”

Roberts says she hasn’t changed her criteria for picking roles.

“I’ve never been one to work very frequently. I’ve probably worked once a year for the last 10 or 12 years. The things that draw me are the same instinctual things — I can remove the element of needing to pay rent, but besides that, the equation is pretty much the same as when I was 20 to now.”

She uses her greenlight power sparingly. “In the past year, she’s said yes to Meryl Streep and she’s said yes to me,” says Murphy, who will reteam with Roberts on the drama “The Normal Heart,” which co-stars Mark Ruffalo and shoots this fall.

He calls it a tough, emotional role. “She plays a doctor in the early ’80s who is sort of the only person to realize that this newfound thing called AIDS is really going to take a toll in the world.”

After “Mirror Mirror,” around the corner waits “Snow White and the Huntsman” (out June 1), a darker version of the tale with Charlize Theron as the Evil Queen and Kristen Stewart as Snow White. A strange coincidence?

“It is not strange!” Roberts says. “Movies are like the ark: They come out in twos. They always have. Capote movies, ‘Freaky Friday’ movies, there’s always two.” And the difference, she says, is obvious. “The short answer is, in their movie, the Huntsman is played by Thor (Chris Hemsworth) and in our movie, the Huntsman is played by Nathan Lane.”

So what’s a magical day like for these two outside the spotlight?

Collins laughs: “Something that doesn’t involve a schedule.”

“I had one yesterday,” Roberts says. “And they’re indescribable. And the best parts are not printable.”

They rise to leave, and Roberts pops out the window to thank the gardener. Collins whispers: “He’s probably still sitting out there going: ‘No, it wasn’t, no it wasn’t her.’ ”

Madonna Opens Up To Reveal Inner Pain And Turmoil On Her New Album

Vulnerability isn't likely the first trait that comes to mind when you think of Madonna. The woman who titled her last studio album Hard Candy (2008) is contemporary pop's most durable alpha female, coolly courting fascination and controversy on her own terms.

Yet in some of her most beguiling songs, Madonna has opened her heart and let her defenses down a bit. Think of the pregnant teenager in Papa Don't Preach, begging for support even as she declares her resolve. Or the giddy lover pledging eternal devotion in Cherish.

Then imagine that those gals had lived a few more years, maybe married and divorced, and you'll have an inkling of the emotional wallop waiting in Madonna's most personal effort to date, MDNA, out Monday.

The album opens with single Girl Gone Wild, a breathless ode to dance-floor hedonism. "Girls, they just wanna have some fun," Madonna chirps over a thumping club groove. Several tunes share an almost defiant buoyancy; I'm Addicted and Turn Up the Radio celebrate romantic surrender, but there's a sense that what's being sought more is escape.

The standard and deluxe explicit versions of MDNA offer an early hint that we're headed for darker terrain. The second track, the pulsing, sardonic Gang Bang, describes not an orgy but a revenge fantasy, in which a woman shoots and kills a wayward and possibly abusive partner. Chanting profanely, Madonna could either be mocking a persecutor or turning the tables on him.

Anger isn't this album's defining quality, though. The songs that seem to allude to Madonna's ex, Guy Ritchie, are charged with sadness and self-doubt. Love Spent is the most stinging: "Would you have married me if I were poor?" she asks, after a bluegrass-tinged intro segues into a radiant electro-pop arrangement.

Spent is one of numerous tracks co-written and co-produced by Madonna's Ray of Light and Beautiful Stranger collaborator William Orbit, whose sonic savvy is just as keen here. I'm A Sinner has a groovy ebullience reminiscent of the latter hit, even as the lyrics again evoke a woman racing past pain. On the gorgeously ethereal Falling Free, Madonna sings of finding both grace and alienation in love.

But MDNA is no self-pity party. There's wry humor and unabashed yearning; check out the semi-confessional multi-tasker's lament I Don't Give A, co-written and featuring a rap by Nicki Minaj. And Madonna emerges, as always, a survivor.

"Nothing's indestructible," she admits on the Latin-kissed Masterpiece, but still vows, "I will not renounce all hope." And why should she, of all people?

Edward Cullen In Real Life

I've noticed that quite a few people are landing on this lens in search of a shirt with Edward's face on it. I've found the place to go! Just visit the Official Twilight Movie Shop at Cafepress! Hope that helps! Edward Cullen is Bella Swan's love interest in the Twilight book saga and in the new Twilight saga movies. He is attractive, romantic and over 90 years old. Find out more about this irresistible vampire here

Poor Robert Pattinson, the living, breathing incarnation of the fictional heartthrob of every teen girl (and their mother) on this planet–Edward Cullen. The romantic, sexy vampire had girls swooning on the page long before it was even a thought in their heads that they might catch of glimpse of Edward in the flesh.

Apparently, Pattinson’s movie portrayal of Edward Cullen has been so real to Twilight fans that his life as Robert Pattinson is becoming difficult, writes Brooks Barnes, in the New York Times article “His Cross to Bear: Heartthrob Vampire,” about Pattinson’s special kind of celebrity. And it only gets worse for him during the days leading up to one of the movies’ releases, as it is the case now, with the June 30th premiere of ‘Eclipse’ just around the corner.

“Despite the best efforts of Summit Entertainment’s publicity team, which has a third “Twilight” movie to promote, it took more than a month to corral the heartthrob star of the franchise for an interview. . . Mr. Pattinson was not particularly eager to chat for the quadrillionth time about Edward Cullen, the tenderhearted vampire he will reprise on June 30 in “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse.” Mr. Pattinson seemed to have a bit of “Twilight” burnout.”

The experience has apparently been hard on Pattinson.

I thought it was all love. What do you think? Should Twilight fans just leave Pattinson alone? Should they get a grip and remind themselves that the real Edward is just a fantasy on the page and now the screen? Do we need a little separation between fiction and reality here, people? I think so.

Girls' Generation-They Looked Stunning

Korean K-pop group Girls' Generation will appear on two popular U.S. TV talk shows, the group's entertainment agency SM Entertainment said on Wednesday.
The group will appear on the David Letterman show on CBS television on Tuesday next week, the agency said.

The next day, the stars will present "The Boys", the title song on their third music album released to the world market in December, during their appearance on "Live! With Kelly", a popular talk show on ABC TV, it said.
"Girls' Generation, as far as we know, is the first group of Korean singers ever to appear on a main talk show of a U.S terrestrial channel", a company official sai.

I overheard a conversation about K-pop earlier today, so I decided to revisit some of my favorite Girls' Generation tracks. (OK. Obviously this happened on the internet. So when I say "overheard a conversation" I actually mean "read an email chain.") So to me, it had to be either "Oh!" or "Gee." And you know what? "Gee" it is. On the strength of the video alone.

So then a friend of mine started yapping at me about J-pop. (Obviously online too. So by "yapping at me" I mean "posting on my Facebook wall.") Specifically, Perfume. And I mean. Yo. This song is incredible. I've played it at least twelve times in the past hour. Literally not exaggerating, not even one bit. So good.
After a long flight from Korea, Girls’ Generation finally arrived at New York’s JFK International Airport on January 30th at around 10:00AM Eastern Standard Time.
The group was greeted by a large group of fans that eagerly waited for their arrival.

The girl group will guest on two major American talk shows, CBS‘s ‘The Late Show with David Letterman‘ and ABC‘s ‘Live! With Kelly‘. As allkpop reported earlier, the girls will appear on ‘Letterman’ on the 31st, before moving onto ‘Live! With Kelly’ for February 1st.

Check out some of the photos from their arrival courtesy of Angie Mills below:
A few weeks ago we reported that Girls’ Generation member Jessica was tagged on a famous alley in Melbourne, Australia. Many fans personally visited the beautiful portrait of Jessica but unfortunately it has been ruined.

A fan recently visited the graffiti mural, only to find that the top half of the portrait was sprayed and tagged over.

Last week, we reported that Girls’ Generation members YoonA, Seohyun, and Tiffany would be in attendance for the ‘2012 F/W Burberry Prorsum Women’s Collection Fashion Show‘ fashion show in London. The ladies arrived earlier in the day and they looked stunning.

The girls were personally invited by Burberry Chief Creative Officer Christopher Bailey as representatives of Korea and the girls were prominently featured in the very front row with other celebrities and luminaries like will.i.am, Jolin Tsai, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.

The entire show was streamed live online and fans were quick to capture the stream and share it on the internet. Check out the cuts of YoonA, Seohyun, and Tiffany from the live stream below.

CNBLUE–Bluestorm 2012 Asia Tour Concert For Taiwan

As the countdown to the 2/28 holidays approaches, all Taiwan Kpop fans are also counting down! CNBLUE, who holds the record for 2012 quickest sold out concert tickets, will arrive in Taiwan at 12.40 noon on 27 Feb (Monday) via OZ711 Asiana Airlines and commence their 3 days 2 nights visit in Taiwan. CNBLUE is still on their Asia Concert Tour, they also have a full schedule in February, and have just finished their Japan concert tour, this weekend they’ll have concert in Thailand, and then quickly follow by coming over to Taiwan, but, no matter how tired they are, they will never complain, because [Support Group of Yongseo From Taiwan] fans have mobilized with bus advertisement and food support that made even the band members shout in exuberance, and hope they can come to Taiwan to meet the fans sooner!

2/28 holidays is almost here, all of Taiwan’s Kpop fans’ are feeling very [BLUE]! Because the long-awaited Korean premier good looking/fashionable band [CNBLUE] will visit Taiwan for the 2nd time and spend the holidays with everyone! The four members will arrive in Taiwan at 12.40 noon on 27 Feb (Monday) via OZ711 Asiana Airlines. As this is CNBlue's first major in Taiwan, the band members and their Korean management company are paying close attention to it. They will have a full on rehearsal on the day of arrival and the day afterwards, and hope to bring Taiwan fans the most magnificent concert.

When Korean singers hold concert in Korea, fans are very concerned about establishing an atmosphere of grandeur, from traditional food support and flower wreaths, to the recent trend of sending rice by the [tonnes] and then donating them to charities under the artists' names, they all give full honour to the singers! Recently, the food support trend has also hit Taiwan, Taiwan fans often prepared food, snacks and drinks when Korean singers come over for concerts; not only letting the busy artists who can't even tour Taiwan taste the local delicacies, they also kindly thought of the Korean and Taiwan staffs and prepared for them as well. Especially in Taiwan, fans will also use bus ad support style, to buy out the advertisement on the bus, let more public know that Korean artists are coming to town as the bus will be driven around cities and suburbs. As [Public Bus Support] is a very novel promotion method to Koreans, the Korean artists who sees this unique form of support in Taiwan will also be especially touched and gratified.

In order to welcome the arrival of the four members, one of CNBLUE’s support clubs – [Support Group of Yongseo From Taiwan], have spent almost two months on gathering donations and planning for the support project, and have engaged fans from all over the world such as Taiwan, Hong Kong, China, Singapore, Malaysia and USA; with the support of over 200 fans via funding or physical work, they have managed to pay for a whole month's worth of advertisement on two public buses, not only to help promote CNBLUE’s Feb 28th’s concert but also to give them strength for their Korean comeback in March! For the day of the rehearsal, they have also readied signature dishes from Taiwan's famous restaurants (cutting it short here): crab, steak, pork, and Ding Tai Feng dimsum for CNBLUE to enjoy.

Furthermore, they have also prepared all sorts of famous desserts (not translating each one too), accompanied with the seasonal fruits and Taiwan’s internationally well-known bubble tea for the members, on top of that, snacks and drinks will also be provided to the Korean staff members, the total fee for the project exceeded six-digits figures in New Taiwan Dollars.

[Support Group of Yongseo From Taiwan] members range from university students to moms near their forties, the demographics of their fans is very widespread, even though they all have their own work to perform during the day, not only do they do "Unpaid Overtimes" every day, but also fund for the project out of their own pockets, all for the sake of [CNBLUE]; they don't complain about the hard work, but rather take pleasure in it.

The support group members were especially delighted when they found out that the members (CNBLUE) were very touched after their Korean management company told them about the [Public Bus Support] that will appear near the concert venue to let fans take pictures. [Support Group of Yongseo From Taiwan] emphasises that the leftover funds from the project will be donated to charity under CNBLUE's name, letting the four members feel the uniquely loving and passionate support in the hearts of their Taiwan and Asian fans.

CNBLUE will arrive Taiwan on 27 Feb (Monday), [CNBLUE – BLUESTORM 2012 Asia Tour Concert Taipei] on 28 Feb (Monday) at Taipei Nangang Exhibition Hall, and leaves on the 29th at 1.50pm via Asiana Airlines OZ712, after that they are scheduled to release brand new album in March for Korean comeback!

Tom Cruise-Talented And Dashing Looking Actor

Tom Cruise is one of the most talented and dashing looking Actors of the Hollywood, The sexy looking black hair, blue eyes and the cockiness of him surely takes every girl’s breath away. The movies of the 80’s like Top Gun and Rain Man were blockbusters and even in 90’s he did many super hit movies like Jerry Maguire and Magnolia. Well, this post is all about the top 10 movies by Tom Cruise, I am sure you’ll love the list!

An instant movie star since he first channeled Bob Seger in Risky Business, Tom Cruise has given audiences around the world a cavalcade of big-time box office hits, from high-octane escapist entertainment like Top Gun, Mission: Impossible and Minority Report to serious-minded dramas and thrillers along the lines of A Few Good Men, The Firm and Collateral.

Once Hollywood's "sure thing" at the box office, Tom Cruise is working through the most difficult rough spot in his career. While he might still be the most recognizable celebrity in the world, he's not the most loved. Like John Travolta, he's a movie star whose fame has been accompanied by many rumors and stories about his personal life, with much of the fuss related to his association with Scientology. For years, this didn't affect his popularity, but Tom Cruise's recent career stumbles -- starting with crazy TomKat couch jumping and evolving since then -- have often left the rest of us wondering if Tom's dude qualities of old have been unfortunately replaced with douche horns instead.

With this summer's Knight and Day and the upcoming Mission: Impossible IV, is there still time for Hollywood's once-unstoppable movie star to make a comeback… and do we want him to?

Tom Cruise -- in his best work -- perfectly fits the mold of what it means to be a movie star. A three-time Oscar nominee, he has "it" -- the looks, the style and the attitude to get and keep the attention of anyone watching. Logic dictates that when this translates into a string of successful movies, it can equal money and power. From Top Gun to the Mission: Impossible series, Tom Cruise has earned a great deal of both as an actor and producer and he's the only celebrity to ever twice top the Forbes Celebrity 100 Power List. As we all know, with great power comes great responsibility, and the ways that Cruise has used his power to further his own causes haven't made him a pop culture hero. Instead, they've backfired, leaving his popularity hurting, and making it hard to people to differentiate between the Tom Cruise they see in movies and the Tom Cruise in unpleasant interviews or leaked Scientology videos.

When we do judge Tom Cruise solely on his body of work, he has taken many risks as an actor that are worthy of respect. He's put his movie brand on the line by playing characters on either side of the moral fence, willing to go from hero (Ethan Hunt in Mission: Impossible) to villain (Vincent in Collateral) to comedic jerk (Les Grossman in Tropic Thunder) without hesitation. Besides doing most of his own stunts, he's also gone out of his way to work with actors and directors whom he admires -- the biggest example being the one and a half years he gave up to film Stanley Kubrick's Eyes Wide Shut in London. Whether they like him or not, no one can accuse Tom Cruise of not putting a complete effort into any film project that he's involved in.

In true rags-to-riches fashion, Tom Cruise's stunning climb to the top of the Hollywood food chain began in the most humbling of circumstances. Moving often and facing a double whammy of dyslexia and a difficult relationship with his strict father, Tom Cruise (then known as Thomas Cruise Mapother) came to find outlets for his struggles in athletics and drama. During a stint at Henry Munro Middle School in Ottawa, Ontario, he became a seasoned floor hockey player and performed in stage plays like IT, which was picked up for filming by a local TV network. In the wake of his parents' separation, Cruise returned to the U.S. where he was enrolled in three high schools -- and briefly considered a future as a Catholic priest -- before finding a second home in the drama department of a New Jersey high school and realizing that acting was his calling.

Rest In Peace,Whitney Houston!

Pop star Whitney Houston's funeral service will be held Saturday in the New Jersey church where she first showcased her singing talents as a child.

The owner of the Whigham Funeral Home in Newark says Houston's funeral will be held at noon at the New Hope Baptist Church in Newark.

Whigham Funeral Home handled the 2003 funeral of Houston's father. They spoke Monday on condition of anonymity because they weren't authorized to speak for Houston's family.

Houston's body was flown from California to New Jersey late Monday.
Houston died Saturday at a hotel in Beverly Hills, Calif. She was 48. Officials say she was underwater and apparently unconscious when she was pulled from a bathtub.

A woman at the funeral home, where several police officers were stationed, said she could neither confirm nor deny reports that it would handle Houston's arrangements. A white tent was set up leading into the funeral home's rear entrance, and two opulent golden sarcophaguses stood at the front entrance.
Dozens of Houston fans went to the funeral home, where they played her songs, sang, lit candles to remember her and hoped to get a glimpse of her casket.

Houston was born in Newark and was raised in nearby East Orange. Her family raised the possibility of holding a wake Thursday and a funeral Friday at Newark's Prudential Center, which hosts college and professional sporting events and seats about 18,000 people. City officials were awaiting the family's arrival to complete the funeral planning.

A picture of Houston appeared Monday night on the electronic board outside the arena, one of the nation's busiest entertainment venues, with a New Jersey Devils game Friday night posing a logistical challenge to a planned funeral that day.

Houston's relatives also were debating whether to have a smaller service at New Hope Baptist Church, where family members have sung. They planned to meet Tuesday with officials to finalize the details, according to someone who had knowledge of the planning but wasn't authorized to speak publicly about it and requested anonymity.

Houston began singing as a child at New Hope Baptist Church, where her mother, Grammy-winning gospel singer Cissy Houston, led the music program for many years. Her cousin singer Dionne Warwick also sang in its choir.

On Monday, mourners left flowers, balloons and candles for Houston at the wrought-iron fence around the tall brick church, which sits near the edge of an abandoned housing project near the train line leading to New York City.

"She was an inspiration to everybody," said Gregory Hanks, an actor who grew up in the neighborhood and who dropped off a bouquet of flowers.

After all the goodbyes have been said, Whitney Houston will be laid to rest on Sunday.
She will be buried in a plot adjacent to her late father, John Russell Houston, who died in 2003, at the Fairview Cemetery in Westfield, NJ.

All of this is happening just one day after Houston's funeral service at New Hope Baptist Church in Newark, NJ, where Houston grew up singing as a little girl.

Many of her friends and family and colleagues will be in attendance. We've already seen Ray J and Kevin Costner on their way.

Rest in peace, Whitney!

Girls' Generation Appear On A Popular French Talk Show

K-pop group Girls' Generation will appear on a popular French talk show ahead of its first release of a music album in Europe early next week, the group's entertainment agency said Wednesday.

The group will be on the "Le Grand Journal", a talk show program of the French pay-TV channel "CANAL plus" on Thursday (on Paris time), S.M. Entertainment Co. said.

"Le Grand Journal", which airs at 7 p.m. from Monday to Friday, is one of France's most popular talk shows, where many of the world's top stars have appeared as guests.

Girls' Generation will be the first Korean pop stars to appear on the show, according to the agency.
The appearance comes ahead of the group's official release slated for Monday of its special album titled "The Boys" through Polydor, the French music label under Universal Music Group. It is rare for South Korean singers to release an album in Europe.

In the show, the group will give a live performance of the album's title song with the same name, according to the agency.

Girls’ Generation continues their worldwide domination by signing with French record label, Polydor France.
Polydor France tweeted earlier today on their official Twitter account that Girls’ Generation has joined their label along with Interscope records. Both labels are subsidiaries of Universal Music Group.

Much like how Interscope is releasing “The Boys” in the US, Polydor France will be releasing Girls’ Generation’s album to the French market. The girls made a huge impact with their performance at SMTOWN LIVE in Paris this past June.

Meanwhile, “The Boys” has been completely dominating the charts in Korea, getting #1 on every real-time chart and taking many spots in the top ten with other songs from the album. The single has also been a success around the world on iTunes, taking the #1 spot in Japan and breaking into the top 100 songs at  #67 in the US and #30 on the US iTunes Pop chart. On Youtube, the music videos for “The Boys” have combined for an incredibly fast 5.5 million views at the time of this article, and have been one the most favorited and most liked videos on the website.

Girls’ Generation joins their fellow label-mates in New York City this Sunday October 23rd at Madison Square Garden for SMTOWN LIVE in NEW YORK. Following the concert, Soshified will be holding the first ever fan meeting in the United States with Girls’ Generation on Monday the 24th.

It will be the group's third appearance on a popular foreign talk show in about two weeks following appearances on CBS's late-night talk show "Late Show with David Letterman" on Jan. 31 and ABC's morning talk show "Live! With Kelly" on Feb. 1.

The group will also have an interview with France's terrestrial TV channel "France 2" for broadcasting on the channel's main evening news program on Thursday, according to the agency.

During the interview, the K-pop sensation will introduce the new album and express thanks for its devoted European fans, the agency said. The group arrived in Paris on Tuesday for local promotion of the new album.

Robert Pattinson And Kristen Stewart Are Engaged!

Have you heard about that Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are engaged! Many thought that this is just a publicity stunt, especially the way media projected the way Rob proposed Kristen on the New Year event. This seemed like a scripted act and without any preparation or even a ring, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart Engaged was enunciated.

Fans were thrilled at this news but hardly anyone believed. Later in January, the couple denied this fact to the media but again in April the new of Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart Engaged and Rob presented a ring to Kris surfaced and the couple confirmed the news to the press. This really enthralled the masses, as their favorite onscreen couple was at last becoming a couple in their real lives.

Fans love such love stories and want to find out more. However, with the news of Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart engaged, media kept a very close watch on the couple’s interactions to fill up the gossip columns on newspapers and celebrity blogs. However, the problem is that these bloggers and gossip reporters make a negative issue of every little thing that they see. They seem to forget that people in love also argue and even fight. This is normal and does not mean that the couple is breaking up.

Ever since Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart engaged, the media is bent upon spreading the rumor that they are at the verge of breaking up. Nevertheless, the fact is the absolute opposite. The couple is deeply in love and has a chemistry that very few couples have. In June this year, what many missed observing did the experts notice as their eye contact and body language revealed that Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart were totally in love with each other and understood each other very well. The couplereally has a special kind of relation, which other than “Love” cannot be explained.

No matter what the media or the gossip columns say, the fact is that Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are engaged and are happy about it. The next step that is now in line is their marriage. We all hope and wish that this would happen soon. That is what should happen and no matter what the gossipers say or claim this couple was made in heaven and united here for the world to see that people who live oceans apart can unite if there is a will and love.

Secret Sunhwa's Airport Fashion

On January 13, a collection of photographs titled, "Secret's Sunhwa Prefers Comfort Over Style," was posted to an online forum. Photographs of artist's "airport fashion" have become increasingly popular, with more and more fans criticizing or praising what star's wear on their flights.
In the first set of pictures, Sunhwa's hair is pulled back into her brown knit winter hat. Sunglasses cover her face. Her long black coat together with her long sweat-skirt, oversized sweatshirt and long necklaces make her look like she's wearing clothes that are too big for her frame. Likewise, her Converse flats might best be matched with pants, rather than a long skirt.
In the next picture, Sunhwa is in all gray: gray sweatshirt and gray sweatpants. She's also wearing the blue Converse shoes from the previous picture and, of course, sunglasses!
Below that one, she's decked out in blue A&F wear: an A&F sweater and sweatpants. Her white shirt, sunglasses and long beautiful hair look great, in my opinion. But, I'm not too sure about the sandals she's decided to wear...
I think that the final set of posted pictures is the best. In the first, Sunhwa is wearing a black cowboy hat, white t-shirt and black bag while waving to the camera. Sunhwa looks totally glamourous in the last picture where she's got a hip-length black coat over a long button-up shirt. Her beige scarf looks great with what she's wearing and her Union Jack bag looks fun and cute.

Girl Group Nine Muses Most Members Used To Be Models

Girl group Nine Muses, who debuted in August of 2010, was instantly a hot topic due to the fact that most members used to be models. However, this attention became a barrier for the girls to overcome in order to truly receive recognition as artists. Many people viewed Nine Muses as "that model group with the nice bodies," instead of musical artists.
For the past two years, Nine Muses had to fight against that certain "model prejudice." Their debut track, "No Playboy" did not do so well. Their follow-up track "Ladies" also did not bring in the expected amount of interest. At the time, the broadcasting companies harsh rules on girl groups and showing skin were at it's height but also, the girls of Nine Muses just didn't catch the people's eyes.
Nine Muses returned last August with "Figaro," and slowly, they began to receive different reactions. "Figaro" was composed by Sweet Tune, who composed Kara's "Honey," and "Mister," and showed off a trendy sound with catchy dance moves and a colorful, retro theme. And finally, Nine Muses shows off their newest track, "News," which is also composed by Sweet Tunes.
During an interview with Sports Donga, Nine Muses said, "We believe that it was all a remedy for us to be acknowledged as a unique group." They continued, "We felt really good. We even heard ghosts while we were recording (there's a myth that if you hear a ghost during the recording process, that song will be a huge hit). We worked so hard during the shooting of the music video that Euaerin even hurt her hand and bled. Furthermore, it's the year of the black dragon and two of our members (Eunji, Euaerin) were born in the year of the dragon.  There are lots of signs that say that we will do well this year."
Another reason for their confidence is their new member, Kyungri. She not only has exceptional singing and dancing skills but has a bright and energetic personality that livens the mood. She prepared to join the group since they were performing "Figaro" last year.
The girls of Nine Muses admitted, "We finally realized that we are one team." It was hard for them to get used to doing things together because they only worked as individual models before. They also had to face with discouragement because their pre-debut hopes and expectations were at one time, broken. Also, they had to overcome the prejudices that fell on them every time they stepped on stage. Through all of these obstacles, the girls learned to bond and unite as one team.

Jay-Z And Beyoncé's Brand-new Baby Girl

We've yet to receive an official confirmation on the name of Jay-Z and Beyoncé's brand-new baby girl, who entered the world Saturday, though the consensus seems to be Blue Ivy Carter. And Monday (January 9), Jay released "Glory," featuring B.I.C., a new song dedicated to his daughter.
It's a less-than-traditional name, to be sure, but it's also one that holdsplenty of significance to the proud parents, with "Blue" being a particular favorite of Jay's, and "Ivy" representing the Roman numeral IV for the couple's lucky number, four.

Then again, that's just our take on things, so while we wait for word from Jay and B, we figured we'd reach out to those who make baby names their business to get their reactions to the most-excellent moniker. And, as you could probably expect, Blue Ivy left some of our experts scratching their heads.
"Interesting name indeed! Our thoughts are it's another, um, unique name from the celebrity realm," Matt Kelly, the co-owner of MyBabyName.com, told MTV News. "We haven't seen a trend in color names, but that's why celebrities pick colors, fruits and other odd names: to be different. It just wouldn't be right if celebrities or artists named their babies 'John' or 'Jennifer,' right? But what about 'Bay-B' in honor of 'Jay-Z'? Just throwing it out there."
Of course, not everyone saw "Blue Ivy" as the logical successor to the Apple Martins or Bronx Mowgli Wentzes of the world. Some think at least part of the name is in keeping with recent baby-name trends: drawing influence from names of the past.
"I think Ivy is a great 'classic' name, definitely following the trend for classic girls' names," said Jennifer Moss, the founder of BabyNames.com. "Blue, on the other hand, although it is a nice color, is also an emotion: sadness. If Jay-Z and Beyoncé had consulted me about the name, I would have asked if Blue had any meaning to them. Is it a family name? A special place, perhaps?"
"We've seen a rise in names with a long 'I' over the past couple years, like Milo, Eli, Lila, so, Ivy fits right in with that. And Ivy is a name that has been on the [baby name] charts for a long time ... Beyoncé is very much a style trendsetter, and Ivy is very much on style," Jennie Baird ofNameCandy.com added. " [And] Blue has a long history especially among musicians. Gregg Allman and Cher named their child Elijah Blue in the 1970s, and Joe Don Rooney from Rascal Flatts named his daughter Raquel Blue ... it recalls the blues, obviously, a lot of heritage for musicians."
And though Baird added that most name enthusiasts actually preferred Ivy Blue (which was rumored to be the baby's name when news of her birth first hit) to Blue Ivy — "Blue Ivy sounds more like a nightclub," she said — she did say that Jay and Beyoncé's baby girl probably won't have to wait long to inspire her first trend: a whole lot of other "Ivy" babies.
"I think we'll see a lot of babies named Ivy coming up in the next year or so," she said. "Blue, I'm not so sure about. I think it's harder for regular people to pull off. But names that celebrities use, they do see a bump, usually if they fit into the style trends of the greater zeitgeist. And Jay and Beyoncé's baby name definitely does that."

The "New Girl" Star Officially Filed For Divorce A Month Later

It looks like there is no reconciliation in sight for Zooey Deschanel andDeath Cab for Cutie frontman Ben Gibbard. After announcing their separation back in November, the "New Girl" star officially filed for divorce a month later.

According to People magazine, Deschanel filed the documents with L.A. County Superior Court on December 27. The papers list their actual date of separation as October 31 and cite "irreconcilable differences" as the reason behind the split.

Although Deschanel spoke with the magazine recently, she didn't have much to say about the end of her relationship with Gibbard but did mention that they will likely remain friends. "We're friendly," she told People. "It's all fine."

Deschanel's statement reflects a similar sentiment that a source told Us Weekly at the time of their separation: "It was mutual and amicable. There was no third party involved."

Deschanel's star power has been on the rise over the past few years, particularly after her scene-stealing turn in "(500) Days of Summer" and "Our Idiot Brother," but more recently since the debut of her critically acclaimed and Golden Globe-nominated new sitcom "The New Girl." Gibbard has been equally busy with Death Cab for Cutie promoting the release of their seventh studio album, Codes and Keys, which was recently nominated for a Grammy for Best Alternative Music Album.

The couple were introduced by their mutual manager three years ago. They got engaged in 2008 and were married in 2009. They have no children.
